The British Board of Agreement (BBA) is the UK’s major authority offering approval of construction products, systems and installers. The BBA organisation has been operating since 1966, providing important information of construction products and materials. The BBA is made up from some of the UK’s leading figures.
Topseal have been accredited with the BBA Agrément Certificate, This is awarded to products that meet their gold standard. The BBA provides reassurance to manufacturers, users, specifies insurers and regulators of construction products and systems. In order for a product to qualify for this certificate it must endure rigorous and thorough examinations both during manufacturing process, which ensures the consistency of the product and the installation process. This ensures the product is installed safely and in the correct manner. BBA Agrément Certificate holders are subject to surveillance throughout the life of the Certificate (each certificate usually lasts for three years).
Topseal products therefore are subjected to regular laboratory testing, to factory production control and to mandatory and random site inspections.
